Team Computerminds achieved a top 5 finish in the Dynamic Adventure race endurance event held on the Malborough Downs. Scoring 880 out of 1000 points this was team ComputerMinds' highest scoring event. The event saw the team orienteering on foot and Mountain Bike for just under 8 hours.

Team ComputerMinds successfully completed the 2 day ACE race held in North Wales. The race saw the team running and mountain biking for 11 hours on the first day (including a night section). The second day the team took to the water with a long kayak stage followed by a blisteringly fast Mountain Bike time trial. ComputerMinds finished just outside the top 10 (in 11th place) which is not for the first attempt.

ComputerMinds have been working with Bristol based Coull to produce the web portion of their vlogging system. The technology has been used on a number of high profile sites including my.sportal.com TEAMTalk The system was also used for ITV's world cup show WorldCuppa.

The problem Drupal offers some powerful caching features, but they are by no means perfect as we discovered when building the site http://www.booktribes.com. Booktribes uses some simple custom blocks to display some semi-dynamic content, content such as the "rotating" lists of celebrity favourite books. Turning on Drupal page caching offers a significant performance boost to the site, but it means that our dynamic front page content suddenly becomes static - which is bad news. So...
