Hey, you seem to look at this article a lot! Why not Bookmark this article so you can find it easily in the future?

As a web based company our clients often don't get to know the people behind the name they see on their screens. We want to take the mystery away and give you the opportunity to get to know the ComputerMinds a bit better. We're quite nice, although maybe we're a bit biased about that!

Which team are you based in?

Coventry

What is the best thing about working in that team?

There’s a few of us who have been working in the Coventry office for about 10 years now, so there’s lots of in jokes and shared experiences, and we know each other pretty well.

How long have you worked for CM?

It’ll be 11 years this summer.

What is your favourite thing about working for CM?

As a parent of young children, I massively value that it’s one of the most family-friendly and flexible places to work that I know of.

Tea or Coffee?

When eating breakfast: Coffee.

When eating sandwiches for lunch: Tea.

When eating cake: Coffee.

Any hobbies?

Pre kids, I used to be quite into slack lining, and a bit of climbing. People say I stretch more than is typically considered normal. With my escapes to the gym I like to practice the kind of weightlifting you see at the olympics (just with much less weight).

What is an Interesting fact about you?

I once appeared on-screen beside Kiera Knightley, as an extra in the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice.

What’s your favourite kind of Drupal work?

Over the years I’ve found myself as something of a “front-end” specialist. But I also really enjoy consulting work.

Have you been involved in the development of any Drupal modules? Which was your favourite any why?

I’ve contributed over the years with patches and a bit of maintenance to various Drupal projects. However most of my contributions seem to end up being to various front-end related projects. Of these my favourite is probably a plugin I wrote for the static site builder Gatsby. It’s gone on to be used more widely in the Gatsby community, which is probably why it’s my favourite!
