Drupal Science Camp was the first Drupalcamp in the UK of 2012. It was wonderfully organised by Rachel Lawson and Euan Bayliss at a magnificent venue provided free of charge by Napp Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Computerminds had the privilege of being one of the sponsors of the event. It was great to be able to support a weekend of learning and general Drupal fun.

We'd like to say a big thank you everyone involved with the event, from organisers to attendees and even those that weren't there, but made the event possible. Thank you! It was really great, and sets a high standard for Drupalcamps in the UK going forward.

Saturday was filled with great presentations about many different aspects of Drupal, from site migration to the Drupal community itself. Because of the efforts of Steve Purkiss many of the presentations were recorded and you can view them on archive.org. There was also plenty of time to chat to the other Drupal peeps, asking questions, connecting with people doing similar things and generally catching up.

Sunday was a much more free-flowing in format, people proposed sessions on large post-it notes and then they were arranged into a schedule on a wall. This was great, and again there were some really brilliant discussions happening and a lot of ideas being transferred and digested.
